1225am (I knew cause I looked at my watch) - I was in the midst of entering a beautiful world where all my dreams do come true when I was awaken by my phone ringing. The person on the other end of the phone asked me if there were a lot of people... I was like 'Huh'. I just mumbled.. He ask me if I was in bed.. I mumbled something again. He then asked me to go to the window and see if there were a lot of people standing outside.. I was like 'huh' but actually stood up and walk to the window. Looked out and there was nothin but an empty pool (would have been good if there were some hot chicks. There would have been in my dreams HAHAHAHA).  

Nxt thing I did was go back to my bed still talkin to the other person on the phone when I asked something very relevant... I said 'Who is this?' HAHAHAHA. Silly right cause I was like layaning the person on the phone when I didn't even know who it was (he was using another number mah). I was that blur. It ended up to be my ex-colleague, chou feng calling from his apartment in Bukit Jalil. I was like damn.. so sorry but ask him wat happen. He said that there was a tremor earlier on and asked me if I felt it. Nope... nada... didn't feel no shit. He apologised for waking me up and just asked me to go back to bed. I was like ok... talk to you another time. 

Went back to sleep but then I heard some noise outside and it was Nicky coming home. Asked him if he felt anything he said no...so went back to bed but I couldn't sleep. Was a bit worried all sudden so had to call back to Ipoh to find out if everythin was fine. For your information, my parents are normally in bed by 10pm 11 the latest so I was not sure whether or not to call but still decided to call up. My dad picked up the phone, here what we talked about. 

Dad: Ello (blur) 
Me: Pa, everything ok at home? 
Dad: Ya, why?  
Me: There was a tremor. Just wanted to see if everything is ok. 
Dad: Is it. Everything ok. 
Me: Like that ah. oklah you go back to bed. 
Dad: Ok. You take care ah since you're living in an apartment. 
Me: ok. Nite  
Dad: Nite: 

That was our conversation. Dad was as blur as me.. HAHAHA. Went to see if news got any stories.. none... maybe cause I dun have CNN. Maybe I should get it. More expenses...hmm maybe not. Went back to sleep. Damn. Couldn't sleep so just closed me eyes hoping that I would go back to my wonderful dream but although I was back in slumberland I did not have my dream anymore.. haiii...  

Anyway todays news. Earthquake in Indonesia. Thousands thought dead. An hour ago colleague's fren called to say he felt another tremor.. nothin in the news. So here I am writing this. Wondering what the worlds is coming to? After the disaster in December here is another 1 less than half a year apart. Is it really the end of the world? Can anybody tell me. Must go home and pack a emergency bag like advised during the weekend paper...

Damn been here for 3 weeks already and have only gone out for lunch with the other colleagues like less than 5 times. Am I anti-social or is it just that I haven't been accepted. Dunnolah... very difficult lah... sometimes I see them going out and they dun call me, I feel... damn.. I feel leftout and being the person I am I won't be so thick skin and ask them if I can join them. Silly right... wat to do? 'Sik jie kei' for the time being lor.  

Anyway today ventured up to the korean restaurant on the 2nd floor of Bangunan Antarabangsa (office building nxt door) cause I wanted to see how authentic the food was. (i'm a sucker for anything korean nowadays) Had bibim-bap which is like one of my favourite korean meals. All in one mah.. no need to order other stuff and would definately fill one's tummy up. They had the hot stone version which was like RM2 more expensive than a normal version but I decided to stick to the normal version. Hey RM2 save up to eat sandwich also can ah.. If can save must save lor. Was not too bad but one thing that disappointed me was the fact that the chili sauce they gave was not spicy enough. Maybe they tone it down but damn (I think I say this word too much)it would have been better if it was spicier.  

Oh let me tell you about my weekend... Tiring man. Fri went for movie, >'House of Fury' with nicky and damian. Gillian Chung is hot. I like her (got character) although the rest seemed to prefer Charlene Choi (She's cute but I still like Gillian..keke =))After the movie just went home and watch some telly then off to bed.  

The next day went to my ex-colleague, Lelean's place for lunch with her and some other ex-colleagues but then unknowing to me they changed locations (miscommunication between me and lelean) cause there was a blackout at her area. They ended up going to Bukit Raja for Bak Kut Teh so i drove there but when I arrived they had finished but they still waited for me to finish my lunch. After lunch headed to secret recipe for some cake and just chitchat lor. Spent like 3 hrs with them then we all went out separate ways. Was good to see them and just hangout.  

Drove over to Sunway to meet up with Su Lit for some golf whackin session at the driving range but since I was early I went to the mechanics to check my car. The reason was cause my steering wheel was moving left to right and back while i drive fast. It started after I drove into a bloody pot hole on the way back one nite. Well I soon found out that the inside of my front rim was totally gone as the part that was suppose to be there has totally smoothen down. Nothin could be done cept to buy a 2nd hand rim but the shop didn't have any spare Wira rim. Anyway the switch my from rim with my back rim for the time being. If anyone knows where I can get one please do inform me k. Too lazy to drive down to Klang as I was told I could get it easily there.  

Drove to extreme park and then after 2hrs of tension releasing, went for dinner with su lit and ling ee after which proceeded back home. The nite was quiet after that but I did build my guts to call up Syvonne. Ended up chatting with her for like 2hrs which was fun =).  

Nxt day went for lunch with some ex-classmate's ie vincent and his gf, raymond, michelle (who is not classmate) and eric who was back for hols from melbourne and the whole reason for the lunch. Called other people but they couldn't make it. After lunch proceeded to play some pool at Club 7. Just played for a few hours then went home rest and had to sik jie kei for dinner once again. The nite was just me watching some tv and readin the newspaper. Nothin interestin happened that nite but damn it was a tiring weekend. Must do it more often. Haha. Oklah.. thats all for now. ciao ciao

Weekend

Weekend has come and gone. Didn't do much on sat. Went to the driving range with SuLit, Ling Ee and Faye(Ling Ee's soon to be ex-colleague). Was suppose to meet up with KK and the rest for dinner but was to lazy to drive to ss2 so just stayed home and ate pizza that I bought at Giant. The rest of the nite was just watchin tv. Wanted to go online but nicky's phone was barred for some reason..maybe he forgot to pay the bill... damn was so bored.  

Sunday watch F1. Alonso won. Renault is doing so well this season. To bad for fishichella.. got in a crash with webber. Quite an interesting race. Should be a good season this year cause all the cars are more competitive.  

Met up with KingYee, Samantha, Thomas (they came down from HK for a frens wedding which I didn't go to) and Nicholas for dinner at Teluk Gong. Ken and Alex also came along (they were studyin in sheffield when I was there too). After dinner went to Matrix for a game of pool although I was very tired and wanted to go home to watch the derby match but since they are down from HK I gave them face.  

Just hung around Matrix till 1230 and then they send me back to get my car in sunway. Got home by 1. Watch the 2nd half of the match. Liverpool were leading 2-0, playing with 1 injured player (Garcia) and having made the 3 substitution before half time due to injuries to Morientes(no more striker lor), Hamann and Warnock. Around 10 mins before the game ended Baros got a red card for a dangerous tackle (die die die ban for 3 matches so no more out and out striker). 8 mins before time Everton scored and the game was gettin very interesting as Everton were attacking like mad and Liverpool were defendiing like mad. Was good till the whistle blew. Liverpool are now only 4 points behind everton for 4th place. Come on Liverpool!!  

Went to bed straight away after the match and today woke up at 615am for unknown reasons. Left the house at 630 and arrive in kl at 7am. 630am also damn a lot of cars already. Crazy one... Anyway thats all for now. Back to work. Have a great week ppl..... cherio!!  

My Week in XM

My Week in XM

 
So its been a week since I've been in XM. Been a hectic week. Loads to learn. Loads of documentations to do.  

Haven't had the chance to really meet the people here and I dunno how to but I guess it will take time to do so. Basically the people here are in their late 20's early 30's and from what I gather they staff here tend to stay for like a year or 2. The longest person here is called Azli and he has been here for 6 years. Even the management have not been here as long as him.  

Dun really like the drive to and from work. Actually to come kl is ok cept that I have to wake up early. Can get here in around 45mins if I leave by 715 but then it could be cause it is school break right now so I guess I will know next week. Leaving kl is another story... basket I leave at 6 jam, 630 jam, 730 also jam.. what the heck is going on in kl. frustrating man. Yesterday I left at 630... the jam was so bad that I made a detour to klcc and stayed there till around 840. Walkin alone in KLCC is seriously not fun.  

Anyway last day of the week. Waiting for my boss to come in so I can chat with her and show her my work. Hope I did it correctly. Oklah... gtg... have a great weekend people..

It's 810am on a tuesday morning. This is my second day at XM. The reason I'm in early is cause I leave home at 715 and reach by 8 so I got time to come up and check my mails and do this.  

My first day here was alrite. Not much happened. Arrived at 8am but just took a short nap in my car before coming up. About 820am I went up for my first day in XM. The director was not around so I just lingered around the lounge till around 845 when I was showed to my sit. Was asked to fill up some forms. Then the director came and I was asked to join in their weekly monday morning meeting. After that was practically sitting around doing nothin for the rest of the morning.  

Was introduced to my buddy who will guide me through the week. His name is Adrian and her is a PM as well. Has been here for nearly a year and handling doing quite well from what I can see. Anyway he intro me to the rest of the company, from the rest of the PM team, to the Account team, Creative team (got a cute chick named michelle.. must get to know her ;) better...keke) and also the Designer team. After the introduction just sat around waiting for laptop and also reading up on some methadology documentations. So much to learn in such a short period.  

Went for lunch downstairs with some of the new colleagues. Damn expensive man food. RM7.30 for a plate of rice with chicken, vegi and potato cutlet. Oh yeah and a drink. Compared to Seri Kembangan this is damn ex ok.  

Came back up. Reread the documentations and finally the I was given a temp laptop. Got online, check my mail and just surf the websites that the company manages ie Toyota, Maxis and some other sites.  

At the end of the day had a meeting with the director who explained to me what she expected from me and which client I would probably be involved with which I will tell later. I was told that she expects all PM to be the last ones to leave and be accountable for everything which I expected before joining this company. I think I will be stressed out soon and people would be seeing less of me.  

The day ended at 630. Went to meet wai ho at bangsar to help him install some stuff and then headed to kepong to join calvin and the rest to celebrate Kar Leong's Bday.  

Todays job is to go through the Toyota website and do a sitemap. Going to be busy busy busy. 2nd Day only ler and already busy. Damn.. OK time to start work. Hope I have a good day. Ciao ppl.

Damn my hand has rashes now. I think it is due to the antibiotics. People that know me knows that I'm allergic to paracetamol ie panadol. Started to be allergic to ponstant & ibuprofen (eyes sometimes swell up like goldfish) which are the only medicine I take when I get a fever.  

Anyway back to the rashes. It was after the 2nd dose of antibiotics I took this afternoon that my arms started to rash. Its all ithcy and red. So so itchy. I need some antihystemin (is that how you spell it). Too lazy to drive out to buy so I guess I will have to bear with it for now... damn I'm so weak.

4am - woken up by the slimmy feelin on my chin. Thought it was just the coldness in my room but when I on my lights I saw blood on my blanket. The wound has started to bleed once again. Wash it up and went back to sleep. 

630am - Woke up once again to the taste of blood in my mouth. Can't take it anymore so decided to just wake up. Luckily for me the repeat of Liverpool's Chanpions League match against Bayern Leverkeusen was on (which they won on 6-2 aggregate..wohooo!!) 

8am - Felt as if my mouth was filled with blood clot. Looked into the mirror and hold and behold.. there was so much coagulated blood. Slimmy and bloody.. yuck.. freaked me out man so called up Dr Ong my dentist and went over to get it checked out. Fortunate for me that the stiches were still intact and it is normal for blood to flow due to the friction between the tongue and the wound. Was told just to bite on cotton goss till it stops. So here I am with a goss in my mouth biting the shit out of it. Had a damn headache due to the pain but after some sleep it feels so much betta.  

Its 130pm right now and I am bored... wanna go out but with my swollen face I think I would just stay at home..BORED!!!

I'm hurting like mad now... help me!!!! Numbness is startin to subside so now I'm feelin the effect of the extraction.... Just took a painkiller but it dun seem to be helpin much. It is still bleeding and I am hating the taste. Giving me a sorethroat... Why did I do this? haiiiii hopefully I would feel betta tomoro.

Well today I had a trial run drive down to KL. Set my alarm at 0630 but as usual only woke up 15mins later. Anyway set off at 7 but had to go to my cuz place first to pass her something so in view of that I started my journey at 715.  

Anyway I decided to take kesas cause that was wat Nicky advised and off I went to my early mornin adventure. Started off smoothly. Pass the toll and then turn into the rd heading towards sg besi then *WHAM* the jam started. It was a moving jam so I was relaxed but then it started to get toooooo slow so I decided to turn off to the rd towards Mid Valley cause I heard on the radio that Federal Highway was jam-free. The time was 735 if I remember correctly.  

Turn into that rd and *WHAM* and even worse jam.. so decided to go back toward sg besi. That detour took me a good 5-10 mins but shockingly it might sound I still got to the outside of the office building at 8am, 30mins earlier than expected. I consider this trial run a great success so I will leave my place at 715 on Monday. Oh while on the rd I think I saw a friend Cindy Lee in the car next to me but I could wave to say hi cause of the cars behind me.  

After my trial run, I just drove back to Ipoh and here I am infront of my dad's PC blogging this. It was a difficult journey cause I was so tired. When I got back the first thing I did was take a 30mins nap. Really needed it.  

Anyway I'm going to the dentist at 3pm. Damn I'm scared. I've never been afraid of the dentist but this time I am cause I'm getting my problematic wisdom tooth extracted. argghh the pain... the stories I have heard.... I want someone to be there to hold my hands but *sniff* I dun have anyone. Please if anyone is readin this before 3pm, pray for me k. I really need it...  

ps. too bad I dun have a camera, if not would take a few pictures to commemorate the occassion of pain... HAHAHAHA such a sadist I am

Yes today is my last day here in SSA. See ya to the crap company. Loved the ppl but hate the company...hahahaha... but still I wish SSA all the best. Startin new work on the 14th. Damn lookin forward to it but also Damn scared. Thats life I guess.Woohoo!!!!!

Sat afternoon around 2pm we started our journey to Genting for ZoukFest. 2 Cars went up, mine (ama and jean) and oswin's (Jon, Jamie and Su Li). Arrived there at around 3pm. Fortunately we managed to find a parking cause it was seriously packed. Unfortunately for us the person who booked our room, Eddy was not up yet so we had to find something to do while we waited for him and that was to sit around starbucks... that was so sad. Each of us were half dead from the long nite the day before so just slumped on our chairs... actually was only me and ama who slumped... haha  

Anyway around 330 Eddy arrived and we proceeded to check in but cause the queue was long so took another hour or so b4 we actually got into the room. Took our time and at around 9 we begin lining up to go in to the venue. Damn there was so many ppl... estimated 15k ppl for the party and there were also ppl up there for Joey Yung concert so you can imagine how pack genting was.  

Well partied the nite away till around 1 and I couldn't take it anymore so went back to the room for a rest. Woke up at 3 but couldn't go back in to the party as Jon took my wristband so I have to hang around the room. At 5 I went down walk walk around genting by myself till around 630. Then went back to the room and managed to get an hour sleep.  

At 8 went down again to mkn breakfast by myself when Jamie called me to see where was I and she came down to McD's to look for me. Just lepak then went back to the room to disturb the rest who were sleepin like pigs. Everyone finally woke up at 11 and we packed up to check out.  

After checkin out Su Li wanted to go to the theme park but myself, ama and jean wasn't interested so decided to leave but unfortunately weather didn't permit us to leave. Was so misty so ended up hangin around in genting till 330.  

Sent Jean home in Chera and then Ama in Kelana and I proceeded back home. Took a shower and went to bed. Woke up at 10. It was such a good sleep. Good weekend cause of the ppl. Wish we could do this more often. Anyway thats all... The link below is for the pics taken during zoukfest. There are some above in this blog.

Friday nite was a good albeit expensive nite. First of all went to fetch Jean from her place then met up with Cal, Lina and her bro Calvin at Kim Gary Sunway. Had Korean noodle with chicken wing, egg, sausage and dunno wat else. Was damn nice...hmm yumyum.  

After dinner we parted way with Cal following my car and we proceded to Oswin's place where we were suppose to meet up before hitting the clubs. As usual I had to wait half an hour for them to be ready. Used to it already. When everyone arrived we headed to Berjaya Apartments in the city to fetch Rusty, Oswin's colleague from US and then off we went to Cream.  

We stayed at Cream for like an hour and half then left cause it was too quite and ended up in Zouk which was a lot lot better. Opened 2 bottles of Pure White which by the way SUX to the max. Party thru the nite till closing time around 3am then went home cause a few hours later was suppose to go to Genting for ZoukFest.  

Oh I saw something interestin.. I was at the top of the staircase just minding my business when all a sudden I saw someone just started fallin down the stairs like in those stunt movies. Anyway it was the girl at the other table. Apparently she lost her footin. Wanted to rush down the stairs but she was already surrounded by her frens and other ppl. I assume she was alrite cause when closing time arrived I saw her walking out the club laughing... &nsbp;

Life is really mysterious. The reason I'm sayin this is cause I just dun understand why things come up at the wrong time. As everyone should know by now I would be changin jobs soon (can't wait). Anyway before I actually got the offer I was sitting in the office for nearly a mth with nothin to do. Absolutely nothin at all but guess what has happened a week before I'm suppose to leave. A new project comes in and I'm suppose to be doing it till I leave. How can they expect someone who is lookin forward to leaving to be in the mood to work, right? Why does this always happen at the most inapropriate time? Damn...
